Rifle Dynamics has recently debuted their latest in the AKM pattern with The Hunter which is a limited edition run build.
Rifle Dynamics states “The Hunter is a new rifle built from our standard AKM stamped receiver with 1913 rear trunnion, however, equipped with an 18” barrel for improved performance for the 7.62x39mm cartridge.
The Rifle Dynamics Hunter features an 18”, button-rifled barrel with a 1:8 twist. The 4150CM barrel has a .308 bore for your homebrew full enjoyment hand loads.
The barrel has an 11-degree target crown and is threaded to ½-28. These DMRs also come with the Occam Defense Merc handguard for your optics, white light, IR, or laser mounting.
The MERC is a revolutionary patented improvement to handguards for the AK platform. The MERC offers rock-solid optics and accessory mounting and exceptional thermal protection.
Just as with all of the Rifle Dynamics Firearms, these are built to order, and customizable with your choice of a muzzle device, trigger, stock selection, and custom paint options. The Hunter custom camo finish reminiscent of the OG Frog pattern is exclusively available for these builds.”
