Haga Defense has recently shown off their latest offering for the Bren 2 with the new billet aluminum Bren 2 lower receiver that is designed for both 556 and 7.62×39.
This aluminum Bren 2 lower is designed to accept AR-15 pattern trigger groups, grips, magazine releases, and safety selectors.
KEY DETAILS:
- Will work with both the 762 and 556 versions. 762 requires the use of AR15 762 (x39) magazines.
- Flared magwell.
- 7075 Aluminum
- Hardcoat anodized. (some lowers may be Ceracoted in addition to anodized)
- The bolt release/hold open control inside of the trigger guard has been removed as it would conflict with AR trigger placement.
- Factory CZ bolt catch/release assembly and disassembly pin will be reused.
