Daniel Defense has recently announced a limited edition run M4A1 SOPMOD Block II Clone available on the civilian market.
Daniel Defense states “The Daniel Defense M4A1 SOPMOD Block II Clone is built for the hardcore, “USE WHAT THEY USE”, enthusiast that wants to be as close to the USSOCCOM specification as the law allows in a non-NFA firearm.
Inspired by the battle-tested platform used by special operations, this CLONE is built around a free-floating 14.5” M4A1 Heavy Barrel and M4A1 Rail Interface System (RIS) II handguard.
The Daniel Defense RIS II allows the operator to remove the bottom section of the rail and free float the M203 Grenade launcher.
While the 4-prong muzzle device is like a unicorn and nearly impossible to source, we’ve included the Surefire SF3P-556 3-prong Flash Hider, which allows the attachment of Surefire SOCOM Series Suppressors.
The trigger is the semi-auto version of the SOCOM rifle, the Geissele SSA 2-stage trigger.”
