Edelweiss Arms states “This very limited edition SIG P210 is in mint condition with 99% original finish. 5/5 Bore. Included is a commemorative case with combination lock, as well as two gold plaques. One plaque reads “RES PUBLIC LUCERNENSIS” “ANNO DOMINI MCCCXXXII” and one featuring a soldier with a sword standing next to the coat of arms of the Canton of Lucerne.

The frame and slide features inlaid gold on the slide, frame, and wood grip panels. In gold on the left side of the slide is the text “RES PUBLICA LUCERNENSIS”, with “LUCERNA 002” on the right side. In front of the rear sight is the Swiss cross in gold, and the top of the beavertail has “SIG” also in gold. The frame has a beautiful gold design on the top of the frame on both sides, as well as “ANNO DOMINI MCCCXXXII” on the left side the year of 1332 is the year that Lucerne joined the Swiss Confederation, and “FACTUM MCMXCVIII” on the right side. The safety selector S and F markings are also in gold. The wood grip panels feature a beautiful repeating engraved pattern. On the left side of the grip in gold is the coat of arms of the Canton of Lucerne, and the right side has the Swiss cross.

A commemorative SIG P210 model was designed for every major populated Canton in Switzerland, although not all of these models were manufactured. There are 25 major cantons in Switzerland, plus a handful of “half-Cantons,” similar to a large county, not quite the size of a state. For each major Canton’s model that was manufactured, between two to five pieces were manufactured. There were a total of around 200 pieces made. Overall production of these commemorative pistols began in 1995. Serial numbers are not consecutive; this model has a very low serial number of 002.”
