Palmetto State Armory recently rolled out their second generation of 7.62×39 Ar-15 platformed rifles and pistols in their KS47 series. The KS47-G2 is compactible with all first generation KS-47 uppers and lowers but features upgrades that the original KS47 lacks.
Palmetto State Armory has upgraded the feed ramp by creating a single, large feed ramp that is designed to allow for the 7.62 casing to feed easier. PSA also adjusted the diameter of the gas port to help improve cycling. Magazine stops have been machined into the upper receiver which is designed to provide a more secure fit when you seat the magazine. Adjustments to the bolt lugs have been made to ensure efficient fee process and stop unnecessary wear and tear on the magazine’s feed lips. PSA states all aftermarket AR15 triggers are compatible with the exception of the single-unit complete rop in style triggers which may interfere with the magazine release spring, so be mindful of that.
