StingerWorx unveiled their latest creation the Aculeus which is pronounced (ah-coo-lee-us) which is their take on the concussion redirector / blast sheild and or linear comp on steroids, as most muzzle device manufacturers currently have devices supporting their lines of muzzle brakes and flash hiders.
The Aculeus can be used with StingerWorx’s Emperor muzzle brakes or as a stand alone device utilizing one of StingerWorx’s direct thread adapter.
The StingerWorx Acules comes in two different configurations a titanium model an aluminum model.
ACULEUS-Ti is machined from 6AL-4V Titanium and sports a black Cerakote finish.
The body of the Aculeus-To weighs in at 4.6 ounces, recoil ring of 0.4 ounces, diffuser of 0.6ounces, and flash hider 1.2 ounces.
Outside diameter measures 1.74 inches and designed to work with anything .30 caliber and below.
