Midwest Industries launched their latest series of quad rails for the AR-15 platform.
The Combat Rail T-series is a one piece free float handguard.
These new free float handguards feature picatinny rails at 12,3,6,and 9 0’clock positions.
These handguards are designed to install without requiring heating of any parts, or timing of the barrel nut, shims or any special fasteners.
No loctite or adhesives are necessary states Midwest Industries.
A 4140 heat treated barrel nut comes standard on the Combat Rail T-Series free float handguards but an option titanium barrel nut and titanium clamp screw are also available for purchase.
Currently, Midwest Industries offers the Combat Rail T-Series line of free float Ar15 handguards in 7.25, 9.25, 9.50,10, 12.65,14, and 15 inches.
Midwest Industries states the Combat Rails T-Series AR-15 handguards are designed for MIL-SPEC upper receivers and you may run into compatibility issues with billet uppers as specs are not always the same as MIL-SPEC
