The reason why I really dislike folding stocks on the AK platform is the awkward cheek resting on the slim stamped stock on AK folders.
Samson Manufacturing has found a solution for this problem.
Samson’s AK-47 cheek rest is extremely rugged with an all metal construction. Made of 6061-t6 billet aluminum.
The AK-47 cheek rest is full adjustable for height and distance.
You can attach the AK-47 stock to either side for left or right handed shooters.
This cheek rest mounts with 4 allen head screws.
Also note this cheek rest will not stop you from folding the stock onto the receiver.
