American Defense MFG announced the roll out of their new titanium Recon Scope Mounts.
These Recon Scope mounts are made from 6-4 aerospace grade titanium American Defense MFG is able to provide a superior product at a competitive price due to their newly acquired investment casting and/or metal injection molding capabilities.
Currently these will be available in 30mm and 34mm.
American Defense MFG states “The titanium Recon mount is 44% lighter than the standard Recon mount. The titanium cross bolt provides 2X stronger thread pull strength than the standard mount at 1,800 lbs. Titanium also reduces thermal movement throughout extreme temperature changes by roughly 60%. Less zero shift makes titanium an excellent choice for optics and lasers”
