PTR Industries announced the roll out of their new PTR 608 9R model which is on the H&K MP5 roller-lock platform and sports an MLOK aluminum handguard with a barrel that measures 16.2″. The (r PTR 608 rifle also features a 4.5 inch welded top rail for optic mounting. The 9R rifle features a fixed polymer stock and ships with a plastic gun case with two 30 round magazines. Multiple models including a California compliant model is available.
