Arsenal announced after fulfillment of a military contract, they have decided to take the surplus SM-13k next generation optic mounts for the AKS-74U variants to the civilian market and release them commercially.
The SM-13K attaches to the side like most AK mounts.
The SM-13k is machined from a solid one-piece of billet aluminum and hardcoat anodized.
The SM-13k weighs in at 4.88 ounces.
The SM-13K features a 5 inch long picatinny rail that runs from the end of the top cover to the rear of the peep sights which allows for attaching multiple optics an sub-optics to the rifle.
The low profile and the relief cut along the rail allows the use of the hinged top covers with integrated sights even when the scope mount is attached to the rifle.
