Shockwave Technologies recently rolled out a limited edition run of their popular Raptor Grip in FDE for Mossberg’s 500 and 590 models.
Recently as of 2017 we started seeing the bird’s head style grip installed on shorter barreled shotguns designated by the BATFE as firearms as they did NOT meet the definition of a ” short barrel shotgun” thus not making it a title II restricted firearm.
The FDE Raptor grip for the Mossberg 500 and 590 models is still the ultra -tough glass filled polymer material used in the same black standard models produced by Shockwave Technologies.
