Davidson’s has unveiled two exclusive Performance Center M&P Shield X Models, featuring Smith & Wesson’s first threaded barrel pistols. With blue PVD finishes and redesigned optic-cut slides, these models offer enhanced aesthetics and performance. Notable features include enhanced sights, unique thread protectors, and improved shooting capabilities, differentiating them from standard Shield offerings.

Davidson’s state ” Davidson’s newest exclusives developed in partnership with Smith & Wesson represent the very first threaded barrel Shield X pistols from Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center. Borrowing aesthetics from the M&P SPEC V series, these new exclusives give the blue PVD finish treatment to both the controls as well as the 4.1 inch 1/2×28 threaded, fluted barrels. The optic-cut slide has been redesigned with a new serrations design, gray Armonite finish, and features S&W’s ClearSight™ slide cut that diverts gases forward and away from the optic. This completely redesigned slide is exclusive to Davidson’s.

The Ameriglo Trooper square-notch black serrated rear sight is paired with an Ameriglo Trooper front night sight featuring a “Fire” ring and green tritium. Item number 14801 has a PVD blue finished, knurled thread protector while item number 14802 comes with a Strike Industries Micro Threaded compensator delivering reduced recoil and flatter shooting performance. Both models come with one 13-round and one 15-round magazine. Purpose-built and featuring Performance Center refinements throughout, these new exclusives are distinct from standard Shield offerings – this is compact performance taken further.”
