Advanced Reset Technology announces Ruger 10/22 improved magazine

Advanced Reset Technology has developed a prototype for an improved magazine for the Ruger 10/22, addressing issues like inconsistent spring pressure and unreliable feeding. Designed for durability and smooth performance, it features CNC-machined stainless steel feed lips and is compatible with aftermarket extensions. Future iterations may support extended capacities nearing 100 rounds.

Advanced Reset Technology states “The Ruger 10/22 platform has long been limited not by its action, but by its magazines. Inconsistent spring pressure, sensitivity to fouling, and unreliable feeding under sustained use prevent the system from reaching its full potential. To address this, we developed a new magazine engineered to maintain consistent spring pressure throughout the entire firing cycle—even when dirty.

The feeding geometry is inspired by the proven TX22 magazine designs, known for its reliability and smooth presentation. We adopted a similar geometry but elevated the execution by using polished, CNC-machined stainless steel feed lips rather than traditional cast steel commonly found in standard 10/22 magazines. The result is improved durability, reduced friction, and more consistent feeding under real-world conditions.Best of all, in our final iteration will be fully compatible with aftermarket extensions, including options like the @themacmounts EMS and printable extensions.

Skip the drum magazines that were never designed to run reliably. Our magazine platform is built for consistency and scalability, with extended capacities approaching 100 rounds in the near future. All without sacrificing function or reliability.”
