Sons of Liberty Gun Works has released a limited batch of the South Laredo Precision Rifle, originally designed for the San Antonio SWAT Competition team. This compact rifle features a 14.5″ precision barrel, advanced rail system for bipod attachment, and enhanced components for superior performance. It includes a lifetime warranty and critical use replacement.
SOLGW states “These rifles started as a competition rifle for the world-renowned San Antonio SWAT Competition team. This release incorporates our L89A rail with an integrated ARCA rail on the rifle for easy attachment with ARCA equipped bipods, use on tripods and easier riding on positional shooting bags.
The South Laredo Precision Rifle is a compact and capable precision carbine. Based on the L89 rifle, the barrel is a 14.5″ SPR Precision barrel and the rail is a 13.75″ Arca handguard.
The receivers are our precision-forged upper and lower receivers, and the L89 Drivelock Handguard system with Arca rail is 5-sided MLOK slots and integral steel QD cups on both sides. We’ve equipped these with extended steel barrel nuts for a more rigid lockup, and minimized deflection off of shooting bags and tripods. The enhanced A5 Length Buffer System provides superior recoil management, while also including premium components such as renowned our Bolt Carrier Group, Liberty Charging Handle, Liberty 2-Stage Trigger, and an ambidextrous selector. Comes standard with B5 stock and B5 grip.”
